Is an average RAM usage per Apache process of 43 MB "normal" for a Social Networking site? [closed]

I have a Social Networking site that runs on a single LAMP Server that handles everything.

The average RAM usage per Apache process is 43 MB.

Is that amount roughly within the expected range for a Social Networking site, or is it too high?

If it's too high, where and how can I look to bring that average number down?

(If you need more details to determine whether it's within the expected range or not, just let me know and I'll edit my question to provide them as best I can.)
